David Flay and Matthew Posik recently attended the Hadronic Physics Summer School in Bad Honnef, Germany from August 7 to August 14.
Zein-Eddine speaking on the agenda of the “Workshop on Nuclear Chromo-Dynamic Studies with a Future Electron Ion Collider” taking place at Argonne National Laboratory.
Zein-Eddine is at the Brookhaven National Laboratory’s “Progress in High-pT Physics at RHIC” workshop. He will be speaking about “Nucleon Spin Structure Studies at JLab”
Zein-Eddine is at Rutgers University for the “Electron-Nucleon Exclusive Reactions” workshop, a workshop in the long-running Electron-Ion Collider Workshops series. Zein-Eddine made the introductory presentation and was on the workshop’s advisory committtee.
Zein-Eddine was at Duke University for the “Workshop on Partonic Transverse Momentum in Hadrons: Quark Spin-Orbit Correlations and Quark-Gluon Interactions.” He made introductory remarks on the Electron Ion Collider (EIC) and led a discussion on important experiments.
David, Huan, Matt, and Whitney are attending the APS April 2010 Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Zein-Eddine is participating in Jefferson Lab’s 35th Program Advisory Committee (PAC 35). He and fellow PAC members will be reviewing proposals concerning the 12GeV upgrade. More info here.

Zein-Eddine is chairing a session concerning the “Status and Progress on Physics & Simulations,” and will be discussing “JLab Users Organization planning towards EIC studies” at the EIC Meeting.
